A beautiful country setting full of wild flowers, bull rushes, birds, butterflies, deer, the occasional French Canadian and, of course, les canards (ducks). We also give guided historical tours of this old French settlement, important in the War of 1812 between Canada and the United States.

We have River Guides for hire who will teach you the basics of canoeing, canoeing safety and go out on the river with you. Guides cost $20.00 per hour in addition to your canoe rental costs, but well worth it. Let us help you design a trip with our guide.
Enjoy one of four secluded sites accessible only by canoe: Little Ridge Camp site, British Camp, Boy Scout Bush Camp, or Big Rock Camp site, each with a fire pit. - $30.00 flat rate for the camp site, 6:00 pm until noon the next day or $200 for a week.
River Canard is a hamlet of roughly 500 people in the northern part of Amherstburg, Ontario and the southern part of LaSalle, Ontario, Canada, approximately 12 miles south of Windsor, Ontario, situated on the Canard River.
